The Love You Have for God in Your Hearts Will Last Forever. Everything Else Is Just Dust

Padre Pio speaks to us:

"Children of God, why is there so much misery in the world? And you cannot find an answer. Many words are spoken in a rather pious way and there is also a lot of praying, but is it all lived in your hearts? It is important that you recognize that you are loved by God! It is important that you know that you are children of God! You worry about worldly identities and get lost in the process. Have you ever wondered if this is pleasing to God? The wretched one tries to confuse you by telling you: Be master of yourself and your life. Rule and do not serve! But your life is short and what then, when you meet the Lord in eternity? Do you not have only one identity that will endure in eternity? This identity is the childhood in God! It will endure in eternity and everything else will disintegrate. The love you carry in your hearts for God will endure in eternity. Everything else is only dust. Everything else is a deception of the miserable. Many mothers cry out to Me in concern for their children. And I call out to them: Pray and do not let up! Take your children into the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass; offer it up for them and consecrate them to Mary, Mother of God! Pray and do not slacken! This is important in this time of tribulation. This is important so that you and your children may have a future. The Lord loves you and has mercy on you. But it is you who call on Him and you can turn everything around, remember this. Awaken from your sleep! I will combine My blessing with the blessing of the priest. Remember: God gives you the consolations!
