Adoration Chapel
I adore You, Christ my Lord! Thank You for allowing us to be here with You, Jesus. Thank You for Holy Mass and for Confession. Lord, I bring all of the burdens of my heart to You and the intentions of all who have asked for our prayers. I ask for Your healing mercy for all who are ill, Jesus especially those in our parish, our family members and friends. Most especially, Jesus please console people who have no family or friends to care for them. Hold them close to Your Sacred Heart and to the Immaculate Heart of Your Most Holy Mother Mary.
Lord, this week has been like a roller coaster ride with the ups and downs. Thank You for helping me and for Your presence in the midst of turmoil and confusion. Thank You for bringing to light the latest information. Guide us, Jesus in the way we should go. Help us to seek only Your Will, Lord and even if we make a misstep, correct our footsteps, Lord. There has been so much unrest and discord lately, and I know this is not from You. Give us Your peace, Jesus, and the wisdom from Your Holy Spirit.
“My daughter, you will see events unfold now. Recall what My son told you about taking one step at a time?”
Yes, Jesus. I think of this often and I try to remind myself that You have the big picture view. I can hardly even see what the next step is, but I rely on Your guidance to lead me.
“Yes, My child. This is how it must be. I will give you the next step when it is time. Rely on Me, My little one.”
Thank You, Lord. Sometimes the next step doesn’t seem to come for a long time, and waiting is usually the challenge for me, but I know this is how it must be for Your timing and Your Will is perfect.
“Yes, My child. You are beginning to understand more about My Will and also to see that the timing often depends upon those who are involved and their readiness to advance. Do you understand this?”
Yes, Jesus. I understand in my limited way. Jesus, it seems that we may not always be ready for the next step but You bring it to us anyway. All is in the proper time, though Jesus, even if it doesn’t seem so to me. I wonder sometimes at my impatience to get difficult times to pass, but then when they do, the next phase that seems better on the surface, can actually be much more difficult. I’m beginning to be more accepting of the time You give us to ‘wait’, for that reason, Lord. It’s like (name withheld) says, ‘Be careful what you wish for’, and why I am much better at accepting Your timetable and what You choose for us. Your Will is so very good for our souls, Jesus and what we want is either very bad for us or at the least falls short of what You desire for Your children. Lord, I don’t think I am able to express my points well, but since You know everything, You know what I am trying to say.
“Yes, My child. I understand you. You are growing My little lamb, and you are learning to trust Me more. This is what I desire for you, so continue to walk on My path and at My pace.”
Yes, Jesus. I am a very awkward partner and often step on Your toes. Thank You for Your patience with me, Lord.
“My little lamb, be meek and mild as I am meek and mild. Be at peace even in the midst of turmoil. When you are not at peace, or sense that you are not recollected, ask Me for peace. Bring this to Me right away so that I can restore your peace. Then, with peace, you will give peace to others. Keep Me in the center, My little lamb. This is the secret to remaining at peace. Always, think of Me, My child. I am in each moment and I am present to you always. Picture Me in your mind’s eye, standing or sitting with you in each moment of your day, in your meetings with others and in times when it seems you are alone. I am with you. Focus on Me, My child and in times of stress, chaos and tribulation, you will have already developed this practice and it will be easier for you to do so. It is my desire that all of My children remain at peace for My peace provides you with an openness to all graces and gifts I wish to bestow. In this way, you will have more clarity also. Pray for peace in your hearts and in the hearts of those in your family and with whom you meet.”
Yes, Jesus. Thank You, Jesus.
Lord, I’m glad to see (name withheld) today. Thank You for helping her so that she could return to Adoration. Lord, please be with (name withheld) especially during the procedure. Please help his body to be rid of any negative cells (like cancer) that may jeopardize his health.
“My little lamb, a time is coming that will make the current and most recent trials seem very small in comparison. I tell you this to help you keep the perspective needed. Do not allow yourself to be swept up in the emotions of others especially when they are occurring because of a lack of trust in Me. If the others you are concerned for, trusted Me more, they would also be at peace. I am calling all of My Children of Light to forgive those who have wounded them. Forgive, forgive, forgive. Things are usually not what they seem, My Children of Light, and you are not in a position to judge for you are not God. Be merciful, My children for then you imitate Me, Your Jesus. The unforgiveness creates a barrier in your souls to Me, and I am unable to get through to you since your will then becomes set as if in stone. When one forgives, one is open to My Will and I can mold you like clay and also change the situation to the desired outcome. When unforgiveness persists in a soul, the soul becomes more and more angry, resentful and prideful. Forgive, My children. You must forgive repeatedly until one day you are with Me in My Kingdom. When you decide for forgiveness, you will rediscover the joy you have lost. Be merciful, My children. Pray the Divine Mercy Chaplet, and pray for the intention of forgiveness to reign in your hearts if this is lacking in you. Meditate on My passion, death and resurrection. Was I forgiving, My children? Reflect on this and pray.”
“The world lacks love. The world lacks mercy and forgiveness. You must be a light to others, most especially to those who have harmed you. Often, they are the ones who are most in need. My children you pray, ‘Oh My Jesus forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of hell, lead all souls to Heaven, especially those who are most in need of Your mercy’ but you do not have mercy on those who have offended or sinned against you. You contradict yourselves. I invite you once again to be merciful as I am merciful. Treat your brothers and sisters in the way you want to be treated.”
Jesus, the difficulty lies in the reconciliation or restoration. I think people can be inclined to forgive but we want to hold the one(s) who have wounded us at a distance so they are not within ‘swinging distance’ again. It’s difficult to reconcile the act of forgiving with accepting the person who does not seem to recognize or will not accept responsibility for their actions.
“Yes, My child this is true. When the other is unrepentant, it is challenging. Forgive anyway. It is alright to keep your distance for safety reasons, of course, however remember that malice often grows in the hearts of those who are the recipient of the injury, because complete forgiveness is lacking. I will heal all wounds, but My children must bring these wounds to Me. I was wounded, also. My children continue to do so with their sins and also with a refusal to forgive. Just as love is to be unconditional, so is forgiveness.”
Ok, Jesus. You are always right. You forgave those who crucified You, though they were unrepentant. This always amazed me, especially since You gave Your life for them (as You did for all of us). They really didn’t know what they were doing, Jesus. I can’t imagine how horrible that scene was for You, Jesus. (I can try but I know my perspective doesn’t begin to reveal what a truly horrific scene it must have been.) Poor Jesus! Lord, please bring peace out of turmoil and give us a sense of calm in the midst of the storms. Bring Your plan to fruition and give us graces for forgiveness, mercy and heroic love. Show us what we must do, Jesus. Reveal this to each individual so we can remain close to Your Sacred Heart. Help us to do Your Will, Lord and to be prepared for the missions you have in each one of us. May Your Will be done, Lord God. Jesus, have you anything more to say?
This is all for now, My little lamb. There is much to do, My child, for My Fathers Kingdom. Let us begin with the work of forgiveness, mercy and peace in the hearts of My children. Until this work is initiated, there can be very little progress.”
Yes, Lord. Thank You for Your words, Jesus, my Lord and my God. I love You!
“And, I love you. I bless you in My Father’s name, in My name and in the name of My Holy Spirit. Go in My peace. Be mercy; be love; be joy.”
Amen and Alleluia! Praise to You, Lord Jesus Christ; now and forever!
